The best cake I’ve ever had in Sarasota! The Piñacolada cake and Stracciatella Cheesecake were amazing, super tasty and smooth. The cappuccino, exquisite. A must if you have a craving for cake, and happens to be in downtown Sarasota.
My girlfriend and I were in the area and decided to stop by this lovely looking cake shop. What a wonderful experience! Both, Tiramisu and Poppy Seed Lady cakes we ordered were exquisite! The selection of teas was fantastic too! We will definitely be coming back for more.

Outstanding!!!! Stopped in this morning for the chocolate chip banana oatmeal muffins (my husband loved them!). Took home a piece of baklava cheesecake and bourbon pecan cheesecake. Both were so light and with a yummy crust. Definitely going back to try more and a coffee next time. Highly recommend!!!!!!
My coworkers and I decided to stopped by a couple of weeks ago to try the desserts and we were absolutely delighted. We loved them so much that we decided to order a cake to celebrate our colleague’s 7th anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations! Monika’s Bakery is a charming European bakery that serves the best cakes in Sarasota. Monika uses the freshest high quality ingredients and all their desserts are not overly sweet and taste amazing (like desserts should be!). Our favorite item is their signature Polish apple pie Szarlotka.
